Irish eyes were definitely smiling as we kicked off our 2015 social season last weekend with the Leprechaun Open. Our annual Leprechaun Open features 9-holes of putt putt golf, hosted kegs & shots, specialty cocktails and a 5-course Irish inspired menu which is staged throughout the clubhouse.
We kicked off the evening by handing out welcome shots from one of our new club cars as we greeted our guests. The gathering then progressed into the Lounge with passed hors d’oeuvres and artfully crafted Irish-inspired specialty cocktails. The putt putt course began in our formal dining room accompanied by a delicious selection of Irish cheeses, hand-cut smoked fish and Irish cheese fondue. The fun times then rolled into the main hallway with our second and third holes leading up the stairs to the Trophy Room.
The Trophy Room was the home to our fourth hole, a hosted Guinness keg and a delectable spread of Irish pub-style specialties. The course then moved through the locker room to it’s final destination, the large ballroom.
The putt putt challenge ended in our ballroom with a lot of competitive talk over a main course dinner featuring such Irish favorites as shepherd’s pie, a Dublin hotpot and of course, corned beef and cabbage prepared by our amazing culinary staff. We’d like to congratulate our winner, Mr. Jim Novitsky, who will be enjoying a special Chef-selected dinner for two in our Valley Room in the near future.
If you missed out on the fun that was the Leprechaun Open, don’t worry! We have an amazing schedule of events planned to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We look forward to seeing you soon!
